The talk is about WebGL: what is and how is supported as of today. I will also show some case studies regarding products which are using it.
Usually when I speak about it with the people it is a common idea that 3D is simply too hard to be done using web technologies, but nowadays the clients’ power has dramatically improved and with the wide support of WebGL there are no excuses anymore.
Last but not least, several frameworks and libraries have been developed, abstracting from the pure 3D engine and providing higher order objects and functions to build complex scenes.
Every developer can use WebGL either for UI, 3D design and games.
